Two Teams Travel Internationally to Play in Spain
The 2004 Thorns and 2006 Freedom travelled internationally to Spain last week, for 10 days, on an international soccer tour. They each played 3 matches against local teams, including FC Barcelona and FC Girona. They saw two professional matches – Barcelona and Girona. They were trained by professional coaches, and they spent the rest of their leisure time exploring Spain and its culture. This was unforgettable experience that we would love to see other teams experience in the future. Welcome them back home and ask them about their excursion!
